Covert Affairs
On the set of Season II of Covert Affairs. The scene went as follows: the “bad guy” (in suit on the ground) is on the roof hiding, the “good guy” (in blue) finds him, they shoot at each other, “bad guy” falls then “good guy” falls, then a girl runs to “good guy”, end scene. They only did 3 takes, but it took them hours to set it all up.

Welcome to Toronto…
G20 delegates… The usually friendly and welcoming city was turned into army camp for a weekend, so that …… (feel in the blank since I don’t really know the answer). The manager at Swiss Chalet told me his sales are down 40% this week. The key tourist landmarks (CN tower and Skydome) are closed for a weekend in the summer. I saw delegates hiding their G20 credentials as they were crossing to the other side of the fence, I am sure they feel welcome to the city. And don’t mention the $1Bn price tag.
