G20 delegates… The usually friendly and welcoming city was turned into army camp for a weekend, so that …… (feel in the blank since I don’t really know the answer). The manager at Swiss Chalet told me his sales are down 40% this week. The key tourist landmarks (CN tower and Skydome) are closed for a weekend in the summer. I saw delegates hiding their G20 credentials as they were crossing to the other side of the fence, I am sure they feel welcome to the city. And don’t mention the $1Bn price tag.

One of the vistas along highway 1 in California. The weather continued to be odd resulting in these strange very low-hanging clouds. In some points along the highway, the clouds were so dense that you could not see the beach below, but if you looked up the sky was perfectly clear.
